As a campaign of new start of Falcon Denshi K.K., we would like to offer free socket adaptor cleaning kit at freight collect (JPY300) to Japanese domestic customers.（This service had discontinued. As an replacement, we are offering electro chemical cleaning and restoration as a better alternative　For detail ）

Most of the programming errors in the field occur due to bad contact between IC and contact of the socket. By inserting/removing IC onto socket many times, remaining chemical out of device manufacturing process is transferred to contact of the socket. By high temp and humidity, those chemical can be turned into an insulation. Socket adaptor itself is a consumable times. We recommend to replace it when contact error starts to occur. Before replacing it with a new one, it may be worthwhile to clean the contacts of the socket by cleaning kit.
If you clean hard, not only oxidized coating, but contact gold itself can be removed. It is not easy to clean all part of the contact evenly.
Usually edged of leads are cleaned unless you wipe it evenly in horizontal way. Cleaning kit is a tentative fix and please considers useing it at your own risk. Please do understand that we cannot be responsible even if you damaged the sockets.
We can also introduce socket cleaning service using chemical process other than cleaning kit as eco product / service.
